形態特徵

• Herbs to 10–20 cm tall; stems quadrangular, glabrous
• Leaves ovate, 2–4 cm long, 1.5–2.5 cm wide, apex acuminate, base rounded or truncate, margins entire or shallowly undulate, both surfaces glabrous, lateral veins 3–5 per side; petioles 5–15 mm long, glabrous.
• Flowers in terminal or axillary spikes to 2 cm long, 5–6 mm broad; bracts and bracteoles lanceolate, ca. 4 mm long, arristate, glandular-pubescent on outside, margins ciliate; calyx segments unequal, 2 anterior segment linear-lanceolate, eglandular, 3 posterior segment lanceolate, glandular hairs; corolla white, to 4.5 mm long, glabrous without, throat retrorsely barbate inside, limb 2-lipped, upper lip elliptic, ca. 2 mm long, rounded at tip, lower lip 3-lobed, lobes long-elliptic, ca. 2 mm long; filaments sparingly pilose.
• Capsule conical, ca. 5 mm long, slightly pubescent at tip; seeds orbicular, ca. 2 mm across, pilose.

• 台灣 : Lanyu Is. (Botel Tobago).
• 世界 : The Ryukyus.
